# Print and Mail Service for Small Businesses and Freelancers

Print and Mail Company is a pay-per-letter print and mail service for freelancers and small businesses: upload an invoice, reminder or contract as a PDF, and we print it in Luxembourg and post it to any country. There is no subscription or setup fee; you top up prepaid credit, and every letter comes with a VAT invoice.

## What businesses send with us

- **Invoices** for customers who want them on paper.
- **Payment reminders and final notices,** sent registered when you want a tracking number and delivery against signature.
- **Contracts, amendments and terminations.**
- **Formal notices** to landlords, suppliers or insurers.
- **Letters to authorities,** such as tax offices.
- **Documents for international clients,** delivered worldwide by POST Luxembourg.

Your PDF is printed as it is, so your letterhead, logo and layout stay the same; just keep 9 mm free on every side. You can save recipients in the address book and print your company's return address on the envelope.

## Pricing, prepaid credit and VAT invoices

- **Pay per letter:** envelope, paper, printing and postage, plus €6.50 (excl. VAT) for registered mail. 17% Luxembourg VAT applies to the total, and you see the exact price before you send.
- **No subscription, monthly fee or setup fee.**
- **Prepaid credit:** the minimum top-up is CHF 10.00 / €10.00 / £10.00 / US$10.00. Credit does not expire while your account exists, and unused credit is refunded to the original payment method on request (processing fees and card surcharges already charged are not refundable).
- **VAT invoices and receipts** for every letter and payment are available in your account.
- **Account currency:** EUR, USD, GBP or CHF, chosen at sign-up.

## Automate with the REST API or an AI assistant

- **REST API** at `https://printandmailcompany.com/api/v1`, documented by an OpenAPI spec at `/openapi.json`.
- **MCP server** at `https://printandmailcompany.com/mcp` for AI assistants and agents, with OAuth 2.1 sign-in or API keys.
- **Draft first, send on approval:** `create_letter` returns a draft with the exact price and charges nothing; `send_letter` requires explicit confirmation and pays from prepaid credit, or returns a top-up link.
- **Track and manage:** `get_letter`, `list_letters`, `cancel_letter` and `get_balance`.

Example prompt for an assistant: "Send the attached invoice PDF to ACME GmbH, Hauptstraße 1, 10115 Berlin, as a registered letter, and show me the price first."

## Data protection for business mail

- Data is hosted in the EU: Vercel (Frankfurt region), Neon Postgres (EU) and Cloudflare R2 (EU jurisdiction). Payments are processed by Stripe.
- Letter content is processed only to print the letter: no profiling, no advertising use and no AI training on customer documents.
- Uploaded PDFs and print files are deleted automatically 30 days after posting; invoices are kept for 10 years under Luxembourg accounting law.
- Data is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest by our providers. GDPR applies, and the supervisory authority is the CNPD in Luxembourg.
- Business customers can request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) by writing to support@printandmailcompany.com.

## How to get started

1. Create an account and choose your account currency.
2. Top up credit (minimum CHF 10.00 / €10.00 / £10.00 / US$10.00) or pay your first letter directly by card.
3. Upload a PDF on the [send page](/send), enter the recipient and choose your options.
4. Download the VAT invoices from your account for your bookkeeping.

## FAQ

### Is there a monthly fee or a contract?

No. There is no subscription, monthly fee or setup fee: you pay per letter, from prepaid credit or by card. See our [terms](/legal/terms) for the details.

### Do I get VAT invoices for my bookkeeping?

Yes. Invoices and receipts showing VAT are available in your account for every letter and every payment. Prices include 17% Luxembourg VAT.

### Can I send letters automatically from my own software?

Yes. Use the REST API at `https://printandmailcompany.com/api/v1` (OpenAPI spec at `/openapi.json`) or connect an AI agent to our MCP server. Drafts show the exact price, and sending is paid from your prepaid credit.

### Can I send a mail merge from a spreadsheet?

Not yet. Bulk CSV mail merge is not available; each letter is created from its own PDF and recipient, either on the website or through the API.

### Do you sign a Data Processing Agreement (DPA)?

Yes. Business customers can request a DPA. Data is hosted in the EU, and uploaded documents are deleted automatically 30 days after posting.
